Charlie “Garden Guy” Stocker wanted to take his 40+ years experience as a landscape professional to help others “grow their gardening IQ.”

To get from point A to point B was simply out of my wheelhouse! – Charlie

He had the expertise, a following on local television, and a fantastic ability to answer people’s gardening questions in an engaging and relatable way. Charlie approached us looking for guidance on building a brand and overall digital marketing/business strategy.

Through the process of discussing and defining his vision, personality, and strengths, we created the “Hey Garden Guy” brand. This brought the entire brand focus to capitalize on Charlie’s strength of answering gardening questions.

This focus expressed itself in marketing pieces including the conversation bubble and question mark logo, online copy, and social media strategy of daily videos answering gardening questions.

Photographer Rachel Mathew joined the project and expressed the Hey Garden Guy brand with fantastic promotional photos.

Lieberman Technologies added their web expertise to create a custom, streamlined website that reinforced the brand strategy of answering gardening questions, connecting to social media, and expressing the Hey Garden Guy brand visually.

We now are in the second phase of the process and it is shaping up to be better than either of us thought it would be! – Charlie

We’re excited about the results and engaged online community that’s formed since launching and can’t wait to see how it continues to grow.
